The Process
Recognising excellence across the UK dance industry: teachers, schools, adjudicators, and individuals who make this industry what it is.

Anyone can nominate a teacher, school, adjudicator, or individual across a range of categories. The top percentage of nominees in each category are confirmed as finalists.
Our independent panel may also directly select individuals who stood out beyond what the public vote captured, ensuring no exceptional contribution goes unrecognised.
Once confirmed, finalists are invited to submit supporting evidence for their nomination. Our judging period covers September 2025 to August 2026.
You can submit as soon as you receive your nomination and return to update your submission with new achievements all the way up until August 2026. We want your entry to reflect everything you've accomplished across the full judging period.
All submissions are reviewed confidentially by our independent panel from September 2026 onwards. Winners are decided by the panel, not by public vote, ensuring every winner is chosen fairly and thoroughly.
Winners are announced at our celebration night in Liverpool, November 2026, an evening dedicated entirely to the people who make the UK dance industry exceptional.
Tickets
Tickets are exclusively available to finalists and are not on general sale. Confirmed finalists receive a private ticket link directly from our team.
Tickets are capped at 4 per finalist nomination, so that as many finalists as possible can be in the room on the night.
